About Veronika Harkness
Veronika has always enjoyed sports and exercising and has a true love for movement. When she first practiced yoga on a trip to India in 2004, she instantly recognized the power of yoga and fell in love with the effortless flow of movement and breath that perfectly connects mind, body & heart.
Working in Film Production at the time, Veronika’s dynamic job required long hours and little rest. Rolling out the mat and practicing yoga offered her space to move, recharge and refocus. Eventually her passion for yoga led to her first Teacher Training at Triyoga London in 2006 and she qualified in 2008. She has completed several other advanced Teacher Training Programmes since. Veronika is certified by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance. She also holds an Anusara-Inspired Licence; a Restorative Yoga Teacher's Certificate and has done various Yoga Therapeutics Trainings. She is a trained Pre and Postnatal Yoga Teacher. Veronika is currently studying at St. Mary's University for a Sport Science Degree to deepen her understanding of biomechanics, physiology and psychology. She also continues to dive into various international yoga intensives.
Veronika teaches what resonates with her own experience of yoga rooted in her practice and in-depth exploration. She focuses on biomechanical alignment and balanced action through intelligent, flowing sequencing aiming to create optimum energy levels, freedom and balance all around in a light-hearted and fun manner. Each class has a different theme and offers a new experience every time you step on to your mat. Veronika's teaching style has been influenced by Anusara Yoga and many other yoga styles. She is grateful to all the inspiring teachings and discoveries she has and continues to receive from many different sources, yogis, scientists, athletes & animals.
